We’re looking for confident, engaging professionals who enjoy teaching, communicating, and helping others succeed. If you’ve ever taught a class, led a training session, coached employees, presented to groups, or worked directly with customers, your experience may be an excellent fit.
This position is primarily a classroom and group instruction role. Most of your time will be spent leading court-ordered driver education classes, defensive driving courses, and corporate fleet safety programs. Behind-the-wheel instruction is provided only when necessary and represents a small portion of the position.

We provide approximately 72 hours of paid instructor training, including:
- Classroom instructional techniques
- Behind-the-wheel instructional methods
- Arkansas instructor certification requirements
- Thompson Driving teaching standards
- Coaching and communication techniques
